RUIAP Award for the Best Theses on Lifelong Learning

The Italian University Network for Lifelong Learning (RUIAP) has established an award for the best doctoral and master’s theses addressing lifelong learning and related topics, such as the recognition and certification of skills, education for vulnerable adults, labor and training policies, guidance, workplace learning, and more.

The award includes a €1,000 prize for the best doctoral thesis and €500 for the best master’s thesis, along with the opportunity to publish an article based on the thesis in the EPALE Journal, subject to peer review.

Eligible candidates are those who have defended their thesis between January 1, 2023, and December 31, 2025. To apply, please submit your application, a PDF copy of your thesis, and an official university certificate indicating the defense date by January 15, 2026, to segreteria@ruiap.it.

The shortlist of nominees will be published on the RUIAP website by April 8, 2026, and the winners will be announced during the RUIAP Spring Conference in May 2026.
