Lifelong Learning (External Collaborators and Community Engagement)

The focus of the group is lifelong learning with community engagement, with particular reference to:

  • Professionals (tutors) who collaborate with the University in training students within their work environments.
  • The community, to build opportunities for the continuous development of skills needed to meet the demands of the evolving labor market and society.

Tutor Training:

  • Comparing existing experiences within the University to establish best practices.
  • Identifying possible cross-cutting training themes (e.g., the role of the tutor, assessment, support strategies, etc.).
  • Defining the most appropriate recognition methods for each sector (ECM, open badge, etc.).

Continuous External Training in the Community:

  • Mapping continuing education initiatives.
  • Sharing existing experiences.
  • Coordinating with other Centers and Departments.
  • Identifying external training needs.
  • Launching certified programs (microcredentials, open badges, etc.).
