Boomers and Zoomers: united to educate on Finance

The Soroptimist International d'Italia Club of Turin and the ‘Valter Cantino’ Department of Management, under the patronage of the Teaching and Learning Center, present the project ‘Boomers and Zoomers: united to educate on Finance’. The project is divided into three phases and aims to develop basic concepts of financial education as well as effective learning and communication methods on these topics.

From 14 November to 31 January 2025, the Massive Open Online Course (MOOC Educate to Finance) will be available, a training activity entirely online, free of charge and accessible to all citizens. The release of Bestr UniTo Educare alla finanza micro-credentials is planned for this phase.

Accessing the MOOC "Educating Finance"

If this is your first time accessing this e-learning platform, you need to create an account in the LOGIN section, even if you use your UniTo email.

Upon completing the online course, those who have completed all the mandatory e-activities will be able to receive the Open Badge Bestr UniTo "Educating Finance".

The course materials include videos in HD recorded by the selected Mentors as speakers for the previous phase of the project. Specifically:

• Online Financial Scams by Dr. Carolina Grossetti
• Innovative Payment Tools and Cryptocurrency by Dr. Michele Gregorio Raso
• Behavioral Finance by Dr. Lorenzo Scaroni
• Economic Violence by Dr. Elisabetta Mihali

The course includes two quizzes:

• The first one at the beginning, to assess the initial knowledge
• The second one at the end, to verify what has been acquired through the course
