Courses for Fixed-Term Researchers
The IRIDI START training program is dedicated to newly hired Researchers (ninth and tenth edition), aiming to develop teaching and assessment skills from their initial professional entry, in line with international standards.
The objective of the IRIDI START training program is to support newly hired Researchers in reflecting on and continuously improving these skills. It is a certified program offered by the University of Turin, validating participants' knowledge and skills documented at the end of the program through an online badge, recognized both domestically and internationally.
The program covers the following topics:
- Pedagogical strategies to stimulate learning
- Development of teaching plans
- Design and implementation of online lessons
- Utilization of learning technologies
- Planning assessment methods
- Inclusive competencies (gender equity, disabilities, cultural differences)
- Systemic approach to the quality of university teaching.
Trainers, who are professors at the University of Turin, will facilitate the learning process.
The program is transformative, evolving from participant reflection and experience, informed by international research findings. Participants will develop effective teaching skills for university instruction.
The program consists of approximately three-hour training modules, primarily conducted in-person on a biweekly basis. Practical exercises related to the modules are included.
