Thursday, November 14 at 2:30 PM and Friday, November 15 at 1:00 PM, in the Organi collegiali hall of the Rectorate building in Piazzale Aldo Moro 5, the Working Group on Quality and Innovation in Teaching (Gdl-Quid) and the Multidisciplinary Research and Services Center Teaching and Learning Center Sapienza are promoting the conference titled Development of Teaching Professionalism and Innovation in Teaching: Building Shared Operational Proposals.

The aim of the initiative is to focus on a common reflection, also in the presence of institutional representatives, on some strategic elements related to the complex and articulated activity aimed at the training of teaching staff.

A few minutes will be dedicated to the speech by Professor Barbara Bruschi, Vice-Rector of the University of Turin, and Professor Emanuela Torre, Director of the TLC of Turin.

Projects aimed at creating digital hubs functional to innovate and enhance the use of tools useful for strengthening training and innovating teaching will be discussed, along with the multiple facets of all possible interventions to build a strong and conscious professionalism and teaching identity. The implementation and execution of specific research lines on disciplinary teaching and the planning of effective actions for the training of newly hired teachers will also be discussed.

In line with these fundamental points, the hope is to highlight the strengths, as well as any potential critical perspectives, of the numerous initiatives experimented by the largest Italian universities (Bari, Florence, Padua, Palermo, Pisa, Federico II of Naples, State University of Milan, Turin), reflecting on the experiences carried out and identifying possible enhancement strategies.

At the conclusion of the workshop, a moment of common reflection is expected, highlighting the potential and future developments of the actions, as well as the need for monitoring actions of the Tlc
