The focus of the group is lifelong learning with community engagement, with particular reference to:
- Professionals (tutors) who collaborate with the University in training students within their work environments.
 - The community, to build opportunities for the continuous development of skills needed to meet the demands of the evolving labor market and society.
 
Tutor Training:
- Comparing existing experiences within the University to establish best practices.
 - Identifying possible cross-cutting training themes (e.g., the role of the tutor, assessment, support strategies, etc.).
 - Defining the most appropriate recognition methods for each sector (ECM, open badge, etc.).
 
Continuous External Training in the Community:
- Mapping continuing education initiatives.
 - Sharing existing experiences.
 - Coordinating with other Centers and Departments.
 - Identifying external training needs.
 - Launching certified programs (microcredentials, open badges, etc.).
