The Working Group on Teaching and Learning Techniques (GLIA) of the University of Genoa, in collaboration with ASDUNI, is organizing the 6th National Conference on Faculty Development titled "Analysis and Development Perspectives for a Holistic Approach to University Teaching Professionalism."
Dates: June 26-27, 2025
Location: Aula Magna, University Main Building, Genoa
The conference focuses on an integrated and multidimensional approach to university teaching professionalism, with sessions on strategies and practices for developing academic, teaching, and organizational skills. Contributions on the following topics are preferred:
- Intervention models for recognizing and enhancing university teaching skills
- Organizational models for developing university teaching skills
- Faculty Development experiences and projects in the university context
- Experiences and projects involving active student participation in Faculty Development strategies
- Faculty Development experiences inspired by principles of sustainability, inclusivity, and social impact
- Organizational models of Teaching and Learning Centers and Digital Education Hubs
- Competency certification experiences through micro-credentials and open badges
- Best practices and innovative teaching experiences at the course or individual teaching level
- Training projects and models for targeted and holistic development of university teaching
- Internationalization practices and experiences in Faculty Development
- Evaluation and impact of Faculty Development programs
Important Deadlines:
- Abstract submission: by March 10, 2025
- Conference registration: May 30, 2025
Registration Fee: €100 for ASDUNI members, €120 for non-members (includes lunch and social aperitif).
Note: The conference will be held in person.
