The Teaching and Learning Center of the University of Turin supports and encourages the fundraising campaign ‘Gaia - Let's Manage Artificial Intelligence Consciously and Creatively’ by the Department of Philosophy and Educational Sciences.
The funds raised will be used for the LIFE lab project involving schools in the creation of immersive virtual experiences.
The aim is to educate children in the conscious, critical and creative use of AI technologies, to train and guide them in an innovative and fun way.
Thanks to all of you, on 6 November we passed the fateful threshold of 7,000 euros!
The primary goal has been reached!
And so the university will double the funds raised!
This means that the three schools that come first will benefit from the experience at the LIFE Lab when the campaign closes on 19 November, but the games are not over yet.
We can collect further donations until the end of the campaign, so the ranking can still change!
Not only that, reaching the 9,000 euro quota will also allow the fourth school to come to the lab to enjoy the experience.
So what are you waiting for to donate for the relaunch of the project?
Thank you all from the bottom of my heart!
We need you!
Your contribution is essential in order to be able to extend the ‘GaIA’ project to other schools outside Turin and to disseminate and valorise the scientific results obtained at the most relevant conferences in the field of schooling and education.
Support us with a donation!
If we reach the 7,000 euro goal through donations, UniTO will double the amount. With the 14,000 euro we will cover
- 6,000 euros: the expenses for the trip to Turin for the three selected schools, so that we can guarantee the possibility for more children to live this precious and unrepeatable educational experience, created entirely by us with passion, dedication and team spirit!
- 4,000 euros: to fund a scholarship for a researcher to support us in carrying out the training and research activities with the children
- 2,200 euros: to support the costs of disseminating and enhancing the results of our research at one of the most important national events on educational innovation: Didacta Italia
- 1,800 euros: the costs of using the online platform, necessary for carrying out preliminary activities in schools
With your help we can contribute to quality education, for everyone!
