IRIDI TO TEACH – II EDITION
The Teaching and Learning Center of UniTo has among its objectives that of responding to a need that is indispensable today for European universities: to contribute to the quality of university teaching through continuous training activities for teaching staff aimed at improving the learning of male and female students, encouraging their social and working inclusion at the end of their academic career.
In this context the program of Faculty Development IRIDI, active since 2017, is divided into several levels, differentiated by target and training objectives, in response to the specific needs of the academic community.
IRIDI To Teach is the training course dedicated to contract teachers and system professionals
National Health System (NHS), in fact, offers essential, but solid and up-to-date teaching preparation, which supports those who teach in a university setting in building effective and student-centred training experiences.
The course is financed by UniTo's Teaching and Learning Center. There are no costs to be paid by participants.
Registrations from 24 July 2026 9.00 am to 16 October 2026 3.00 pm through Google form.
REQUIREMENTS
Access is reserved for holders of University SCU credentials as holders of a teaching role such as contract teachers or NHS teachers at the University of Turin for the academic year 2026/2027.
ADMISSION
At the end of registration, once possession of the requirements has been verified, access to the Moodle course will be made available by sending the access key via email.
IRIDI To Teach proposes an itinerary in 6 training modules, each focused on a relevant aspect of the teaching activity: from teaching student centered to the design of syllabus, from classroom management and active-participatory teaching strategies up to evaluation strategies and tools, with a specific focus on inclusion in the university context.
A final module it also provides orientation to the functioning of the quality assurance system in the university environment.
The course is delivered entirely online, in asynchronous mode. The contents are organized into video pills, interactive activities, final quizzes and individual exercises, designed to accompany learning in a gradual, customizable and flexible way. Before starting the journey you are required to fill out an initial questionnaire which explores attitudes, expectations and motivations.
The compilation of incoming questionnaire it is mandatory to access the course contents.
The exercises and quizzes present in each module can be carried out after completing the viewing of the videos; to complete the videos it will be necessary to watch them in full and answer the interactive questions that appear during use. The in-depth materials, however, are optional.
At the end of the course, you will need to complete a final questionnaire, useful for encouraging reflection on the training experience, collecting feedback on the process and obtainingopen badge.
