Quality Assurance

Training course - The Quality Assurance System at the University

The training course is dedicated to the Cyclical Review of Study Programs (CdS) in light of the AVA3 periodic accreditation model. The course assists professors, CdS Presidents, members of the AQ Commissions, and technical-administrative staff in understanding and applying the ANVUR model, with an application-oriented approach focused on the drafting of the Cyclical Review Report (RRC). The program is divided into three modules:

  • Module 1 – Stakeholder Consultations, focused on the preparatory phase of the periodic review of the CdS and on strengthening links with the world of work and higher education; (2 hours).
  • Module 2 – Cyclical Review: The ANVUR AVA3 model and self-assessment in requirements D.CDS.1–D.CDS.4, dedicated to the structure of the RRC, the analysis and definition of the different sections, and the identification of objectives and improvement actions (4 hours).
  • Module 3 – Analysis of quantitative indicators in the Cyclical Review and in the Annual Monitoring Form, aimed at the structured interpretation of indicators and the informed use of data for the continuous improvement of the CdS. (2 hours).

The course integrates regulatory references, operational guidelines, analysis of recurring critical issues, and methodological suggestions in order to support the drafting of a review based on documented evidence, shared among the actors involved, and concretely oriented toward improvement.

At the end of the course, a certificate of participation and an Open Badge will be issued.

The program is structured in thematic modules built around video lessons aimed at providing a theoretical and operational framework for consultation activities and their role in the Quality Assurance process and Cyclical Review.

The first lesson, Consultation with Stakeholders in the Quality Assurance System in Study Programs, introduces the meaning, purpose, and strategic value of consultation in the context of study programs, explores the link between consultation, the AVA3 model, and quality requirements, highlighting its preparatory function for the Cyclical Review Report.

The second lesson, Consultation with Stakeholders: operating procedures and documentation, provides practical guidance on how to organize meetings, identify stakeholders, share documentation, and follow the correct procedures for recording minutes.

The third lesson, Steering Committee and Stakeholders, analyzes the role, functions, and potential of the Steering Committee as a stable tool for connecting with the world of work and higher education.

The fourth lesson is dedicated to the construction of the Tuning Matrix, with a specific video lesson aimed at exploring the methodology for designing and realigning the educational offering in line with the results of the consultation and the educational objectives of the degree program.

Each lesson is accompanied by reference documentation and a section dedicated to further reading.

At the end of the asynchronous training on Stakeholder Consultation, the Quality Assurance Committee has scheduled an in-depth meeting on the topics covered. The session aims to encourage collegial discussion and provide answers to any questions, comments, or considerations that may have arisen during the training.
