Interprofessionalism at School: Education Is a Collective Endeavour | 22–23 October 2026
On 22 and 23 October 2026, Turin will host the training event “Interprofessionalism at School: Education Is a Collective Endeavour”, promoted by the Department of Philosophy and Educational Sciences of the University of Turin as part of the activities of the EsPEDA Master’s Programme and research initiatives focusing on collaboration among education professionals.
The event will offer two days of discussion on the relationship between teachers, educators and other professionals working in schools, with the aim of reflecting on the conditions that can foster truly shared, inclusive and co-responsible educational and teaching practices.
22 October | Theatre Performance and Round Table
The first day will take place at Cecchi Point, Via Antonio Cecchi 17, Turin.
- 5:00 p.m. – Theatre performance by Social Community Theatre, developed from interviews and testimonies collected from education professionals working in Turin, Rome and Palermo
- 6:30 p.m. – Round table on interprofessionalism at school
The performance uses theatre as a means of exploring and presenting the experiences, challenges and potential of collaborative work between teachers and educators in everyday school life.
23 October | Conference on Interprofessionalism at School
The second day will take place at the Aula Magna, Cavallerizza Reale, Via Verdi 9, Turin, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Researchers working in Turin, Rome and Palermo on interprofessionalism in schools will present their work, together with representatives of institutions and foundations involved in supporting and developing educational initiatives.
The morning session will focus on dialogue between academic research, schools, institutions and local stakeholders, drawing on experiences and preliminary findings emerging from the different research contexts.
