On Monday, 27 October (3:00–6:00 p.m.) and Tuesday, 28 October (9:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m.), the Generative AI and Artificial Sociality conference, organised by Simone Natale and Prof. Viviana Patti of the Ferdinando Rossi School of Advanced Studies at the University of Turin, will be held in the Aula Magna of the Rectorate at Via Po 17.

The event, in English, will be a unique opportunity to hear presentations by internationally renowned scholars, including Tarleton Gillespie (Microsoft Research), Ana Guerberof Arenas (University of Groningen) and Alessandro Vinciarelli (University of Glasgow), with ample time for questions and discussion.

As part of the conference, on Tuesday 28 October (2.15-3.30 p.m.), there will also be a roundtable organised in collaboration with the Ferdinando Rossi Forum, dedicated to the theme of AI and education. Experts from various fields – including pedagogy, educational technologies and social rights – will come together to reflect on the relationship between artificial intelligence and education, understood not only as teaching, but also as a social process involving students, educators and communities.

For a full list of speakers, please refer to the attached programme, which is also provided below. Further information is available on the official event page at the following link.
