The international educational initiative is aimed at PhD students and post-docs, focusing on the themes of aging in contemporary societies.
It is a Blended Intensive Program (BIP) titled: “Challenges in Ageing Societies – Care work, technologies, dementia, and ethics” which will be held in 2026 at Malmö University (Sweden), in collaboration with the Universities of Bologna, Helsinki, Jyväskylä, and Roskilde.
The course aims to offer a critical and interdisciplinary reflection on demographic changes and the challenges related to aging in contemporary societies. The topics covered range from care and personal services, assistive technologies, dementia, to ethical implications and welfare policies.
It is designed for PhD students and post-docs from fields such as Education Sciences, Sociology, Gerontology, Psychology, Political Science, Nursing Sciences, and related fields, and represents an interesting opportunity for international exchange and networking.
